Reserving some Seeds !!!

For a struggling farmer ( person, individual, family )...

Who barely has enough to survive and live

There is a great temptation to live just for now. ( I feel the word temptation dampens the reality. The word "necessity" describes it better)

He WANTS to eat all the seeds so that he can be 'FINE' ( I mean "stay alive" )

But...

The sincere truth ( without emotions, sentiments, and apology ) is that. - If the struggling farmer will not again struggle tomorrow.

- If the struggling farmer wants to get out of this loop of "need"

He MUST; out of the little and meager he has today ( no matter how small ).

Still, reserve some seeds for tomorrow.

If he chooses to live alone for the present.

He is not going to have any seeds to plant tomorrow.

This argument is not only for the struggling farmer. It is what continues the cycle for the successful farmer. A wise and prosperous farmer knows not to eat tomorrow's seeds as today's harvest. ( Never be carried away in the merry of today's harvest )

You can observe them during harvest.

They carefully select the best seeds for tomorrow's planting season.

And then make do and live on the rest.

We should try not to live only for the present.

You can see me using the word "try" and not "must". Because it is difficult to preach the salvation of "savings" to a man who is daily dying of hunger.

Reserve some seeds ( if possible, the best ) for tomorrow's planting season.

Some people Invest.

Some people save.

Some people spend extra time learning skills that may be useful in the future.

Some people take time to build lasting relationships and friendships.

The list is endless

As long as it has the power to make tomorrow better.

It is worth the sacrifice of the merriment and enjoyment of today.
